LC2ga		Plate 2 GA - beautifully fresh stamp in deep blue with 4 good to large margins, tied to a 7th March 1842 cover from Cuparangus to Blairgowrie by a fine crisp black MX. There is the faintest trace of a very light crease or enclosre bend at the rhs of the stamp, but this not visible to the naked eye, and thus does not detract from a visually most attractive cover. At a little over10% cat, this one is a true bargain.	265.00
LC1kjni		Plate 1 KJ and NI - in a pale blue shade - both with 4 full margins, tied to a March 19th 1841 unfolded entire from Halifax to Liverpool.An exceptionally fine item.	795.00
LC2ncnd		Plate 2 - NC-ND superb 4-margin pair in a bright, fresh blue, tied to very fine 10th March 1842 cover from Norwich to Wymondham. Minor repaired tear at the bottom of the cover, but this barely detracts from what is an exceptionally attractive 2d blue cover. Fine Norwich cds and dual red wax seals on the back.	995.00

LC3ca		Plate 3 [CA] - just touched at left and base, but neatly tied by MX to a clean 25 May 1843 entire from Carlisle to Penrith - very attractive and collectable at under 10% cat.(Cat £ 550.00)	50.00
LC3ee		Plate 3 EE - 4 good to large margins, tied by a very fine strike of the 131 of Edinburgh, to an exceptionally attractive 12 Dec 1845 entire to Meigle . One of the nicest plate 3 covers I have seen.	115.00
LC3hd		Plate 3 HD- just touching frame NE - mounted sideways and tied by London Inland '1' to 7 Sep 1844 cover to Manchester	55.00
LC3ih		Plate 3 IH -very fine 4-margined stamp (which shows a clear HGL through both the 'I' square and the value tablet), tied by beautifully -placed black MX to a fine unfolded 31st Jan 1843 cover (small repaired tear at centre top of cover) from London to Preston. . A very good-looking cover indeed.	165.00
LC3je		Plate 3 JE superb 4 margin, very lightly cancelled on 3rd February 1845 cover from Cullompton to Taunton, with very fine Cullompton cds on the front	78.00
LC3jh		Plate 3 JH. 4 good to huge margins, affixed bottom left, tied to facinating 2 Nov 1847 entire to Cairndon - written in Ballagan House, Strathblane (fine STRATHBLANE udc) , and cancelled in Glasgow .	75.00
LC3nanb		Plate 3 NA-NB 4-margined pair tied by black MXs to a 1st July 1842 cover from Edinburgh to Linlithgow. Small split at RH top of NB caused by the filing fold, but this is barely visible without a glass.	185.00
LC3ng		Plate 3 NG - but for a tiny touch at NE, a 4-margin stamp with MX on an unfolded 22 Feb 1845 cover from Chichester to London. Closed spike hole, but still an attractive bargain cover. Cat £ 550.00.	65.00
LC3nj		Plate 3 NJ - just cut into at top - on registered cover from Manchester to Skirwith Abbey 20th Dec 1848. 2d postage, plus 6d registration fee paid in cash.	45.00

LC4lb		Plate 4 LB. 4 good to huge margins, showing parts of KC (!) and MB, tied by 131 of Edinburgh to attractive 10 Aug 1850 entire to Wemyss Castle, Kirkcaldy. Red wax seal.	75.00
LC5odoe		Plate 5 OD-OE pair [lc14] tied by London Inland cancel to 30 Jun 1856 cover from London to Bagneres-de-Luchon in the Haute Garrone. Calais and Paris transits. Fine.	65.00
